At Mugen, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Each item is backed by a lifetime warranty for both materials and craftsmanship. We stand firmly behind everything we create, and our goal is to ensure complete client satisfaction. If any issues arise that fall short of expectations, we will take all necessary steps to resolve the situation.
To make a warranty claim, a Mugen order number must be provided.
The warranty covers repair or replacement of the fixture itself and does not extend to additional charges such as installation fees or electrical work.
Whether repair or replacement is required will be determined solely by Mugen.
Any authorised repairs will be performed exclusively at our manufacturing facility.
Unauthorised repairs or modifications will void the warranty entirely.
The warranty is void in cases of incorrect installation or failure to follow care instructions.
This warranty does not cover damage from weathering, misuse, or normal wear and tear.
A 50% deposit is required to initiate production. This deposit is non-refundable.
The remaining balance is due prior to delivery, shipment, or release of the order.
Custom and Quick Ship orders as well as any orders under $1,000 are required to be paid in full at the time of order.
Payments can be made by check, wire transfer, or major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express).
A 3% processing fee applies to credit card payments.
Pricing is subject to change without prior notice. All items are invoiced at the price in effect when the order is placed.
Written quotations (including custom projects) will be honoured for 30 days from the date of issue, regardless of subsequent pricing changes.
A client signature or Purchase Order is required for all quotes before processing.
In the absence of a signature, a deposit on a quote indicates approval for processing.
We are not responsible for discrepancies in quantities or custom specifications once the order is confirmed.
The details in the Order Acknowledgment will be final and take precedence over any conflicting details in the client’s purchase order.
Orders are shipped via Bluedart, FedEx from our facility in Mumbai, In. Please inform us in advance if you require an alternative delivery method.
Some fixtures may incur additional crating fees.
If you do not wish to incur shipping charges, fixtures will be available for pick-up at our facility.
Storage fees will apply to orders held at our manufacturing facility for more than 1 week past the final payment due date.
Clients must examine their merchandise upon receipt and report any damage within 48 hours of receipt. Claims for damage will not be honored after this period.
All packaging must be retained when making a claim.
Fixtures must be inspected for defects at the time of receipt; we will not be responsible for installation expenses incurred due to defects.
Mugen is not responsible for site preparation or installation conditions. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the site is prepared to receive the fixtures, including electrical conditions and weather-related considerations.
All sales are final. However, for non-custom fixtures returned within 15 days, we will provide store credit for a future purchase.
Returned items must be in original condition and packaging, uninstalled, and undamaged.
A 20% restocking fee applies to returned items.
Custom fixtures are non-returnable.
Our typical lead time is 10 weeks, but this can vary depending on production schedules and the complexity of orders.
Expedited production is available for an additional fee, based on production availability.
All quoted ship dates are estimates and subject to change.
Due to the nature of material and hand-applied finishes, natural variations in tone and texture are to be expected.
Many of our finishes are living and will continue to patinate over time.
All of our fixtures are UL listed for safety compliance. The UL Listed Mark certifies that the product meets national safety standards.
We offer customization options for many of our standard fixtures. Custom orders cannot be canceled once placed, and they cannot be returned for a refund or credit.
Our products are human-made, and slight imperfections or variations may occur due to the nature of handcrafted items.
All designs, quotations, and plans are the intellectual property of Mugen, and are protected under copyright law.
